FAQs

For all packages, please note the following: 

• Client must provide Furniture and separate Finishes maximum budget for Designer to work within.  If Client is unable to provide one, Designer can assist in generating one for an additional cost at our hourly rate.

 

• Designer will provide one (1) well thought out design per room and does not include options.  Any requested options are welcome and shall be charged at our hourly rate.

 

• Client must provide to Designer prior to Designer beginning service, any adjacent room wall and/or trim paint colors, as known and required by Client, for Designer to work with in selection of new colors.

 

• For higher cost and/or quantity finish items like tile, cabinetry, appliance, etc., Designer will try to incorporate these selections from local suppliers when requested by Client, as long as Designer can access their inventory from their website, so that Client can view in person prior to purchasing.  Client must inform the local sources of their preference to the Designer prior to commencement of project. 

 

• Designer will provide paint colors from Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams.  Any other paint company requests are welcome at an additional fee. 

 

• Any additional requested design revisions will be charged at our hourly rate, as noted in our agreement. 

 

• 2D black & white elevations and floor plans showing tile patterns and tile starting point locations are available at an extra cost. 

 

• 3D colored room view renderings and rendered floor plans are available at an extra cost. 

 

• Client must be ready to purchase immediately upon Designer submitting shopping list to avoid items becoming out of stock.  Any time required for Designer to make reselections will need to be charged at our hourly rate.

 

• During implementation of the project, Designer can be available for questions or if you need Designer to speak to your contractor, and shall be charged at our hourly rate.

 

• For any goods and materials specified by Designer, shipping, handling, special crating, and/or freight may be extra.

 

• Client may be subjects to Use Tax if Sales Tax is not charged during purchase and is recommended to inquire with Client’s accountant to confirm.

 

• All phone calls and virtual meetings shall be during The Ferox Collection’s regular business hours.  The main form of communication for Decoratus shall be via email.  Texting is not available at this time.

 

Cancellations & Refunds.  All sales are final and are not permitted to be canceled nor refunded.  We take great pride in our work and will promptly begin working on your project.  Once we begin, we will work quickly to get your project completed due to constant stock changes, so that goods are available for you to purchase.  Due to this fast track process, we will have quickly invested much time into your project and therefore we do not permit cancellations or refunds.  

 

Room Changes.  Once your design package has been purchased you may not change rooms.  Special circumstances may be considered only if the initial consultation has not occurred.  Inquire with your Designer to verify any changes to your agreement.

 

In-Person Consultations.   Decoratus Delivered is virtual e-design service only.  If you prefer an in-person consultation, please reach out to The Ferox Collection for full-service interior design services.

 

Forms of Payment.  The Ferox Collection accepts ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfer, bank wire transfer, certified check, or personal check.  Any credit card fees or bank fees due to wire transfers shall be confirmed with us and remitted along with your design package payment.  Should you decide to remit a personal bank check, we reserve the right to wait till payment has been confirmed cleared before starting the project. 

 

International Projects.  We are a global design firm and can work with clients worldwide however this is generally through our full-service interior design services.  Please inquire with us as we will determine based on your location how we may be able to help you virtually.
